CAN I BOOK A CLASS FOR MY FRIEND AS WELL?
Yes. You can book multiple bikes in one class from your account, to bring a friend or even a group of friends.
However, some special credits (for example Challenge Credits) and Membership Credits cannot be used for a multiple bookings.
I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING. WHAT DO I DO?
If you want to cancel your class, you can do so within your SuperCycle account. Simply click the cancel button next to the according class.
If you cancel at least 9 hours before the class starts, the credit will be added back to your account for future use. If you cancel your class later than 9 hours before the class starts, we unfortunately can’t refund the credit - money cannot be refunded. However, we’d really appreciate it if you cancel anyway so that our staff knows you won´t be attending. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN INSTRUCTOR CAN’T TEACH THE CLASS?
If an instructor is unable to attend/teach their class, we will organize another instructor to jump in and teach that class. If we are unable to find a replacement, the class will be canceled and all bookings will be refunded automatically. In both cases we are always going to let you know in advance via email so you are given enough time to reschedule your class or cancel your booking. We try our very best to always find an instructor with similar music and style as replacements to minimize the inconvenience - we, however, ask for your understanding if that is not always possible for us to achieve.
I AM A BEGINNER - DO I NEED SPECIAL SKILLS OR A CERTAIN FITNESS LEVEL TO RIDE A CLASS?
You don't need to have any cycling experience or special skills, but good general health is required. You can always control the intensity of your workout by controlling the resistance button on your bike or sitting down during class. It is your workout and you choose the intensity according to your own limits.
If you’re still unsure, feel free to book one of our Foundation Classes — designed to teach you the basics, including posture, movements, and skills — or try our Soft Classes for a less intense ride focused on sing-along and fun.
CAN I USE MY NORMAL GYM SHOES?
Yes, you can use normal gym-shoes with all of our bikes. However, we do recommend the use of professional cycling shoes, as they provide many benefits to your stability and riding experience.

All of our bikes have a height range from 1,40m to 2,10m - please make sure your bike is set up accordingly or ask our team for help.

If you’re pregnant and cleared for exercise by your doctor, you can safely join SuperCycle classes by keeping a few points in mind: Moderate exercise during pregnancy is recommended, but always wear a heart rate monitor and keep your heart rate below 140 bpm. Take breaks as needed, stay hydrated, and avoid any movements or intensity that cause discomfort.
WHAT TYPE OF CLEATS DO MY CYCLING SHOES NEED, TO WORK WITH YOUR BIKES?
All of our bikes use SPD Cleats.
SHOULD I EAT AND DRINK SOMETHING BEFORE CLASS?
Absolutely! We recommend having light carbs and staying well-hydrated before class to ensure you have the energy to power through your workout.
I HAVE PROBLEMATIC KNEES/JOINTS, IS CYCLING A GOOD IDEA?
Cycling is a high-intensity, low-impact exercise that's gentle on the knees and joints (if your bike is set up correctly). If you have sensitive knees and have been cleared by your doctor for exercise, focus on keeping your hips and weight close to the saddle, avoiding leaning forward on the handlebars, as this can put pressure on your knees. Wearing cycling shoes will also help stabilize your knees and provide extra support.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?
To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes before class begins. This helps us start and end on time, respecting both the instructor and fellow riders. If it’s your first visit to SuperCycle, plan to arrive even earlier for assistance with bike setup. Please note that late arrivals will not be allowed to join, as the doors will be locked once class starts. Missed classes due to tardiness will not be reimbursed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
WHAT LANGUAGE ARE SUPERCYCLE CLASSES TAUGHT IN?
All of our classes are taught in English, and all our receptionists speak English and German.
DO YOU HAVE SHOES TO RENT AT THE STUDIO?
If you don’t own cycling shoes yourself, you can rent them free of charge right at the studio before your class. We always recommend using cycling shoes with SPD cleats rather than normal gym-shoes as it increases stability, helps with posture and ensures a smooth ride.
IS THERE A TOWEL SERVICE AT THE STUDIOS?
We do not provide towels at our studios, so please ensure to bring your own to class.
HOW TO SET UP YOUR BIKE CORRECTLY?
1. SADDLE HEIGHT:
Stand next to the bike and set the saddle three fingers below the hipbone. Sit on the saddle with one of your heels resting on the pedal at its lowest position. Your leg should be almost fully extended without needing to tilt your hips. You can still keep a slight bent in the knees.
2. SADDLE POSITION:
Sit on the bike and ensure your pedals are parallel (3 o'clock and 9 o'clock position). Your knees should be above your ankles and behind the resistance button. Adjust the saddle by loosening the latch underneath the seat to move it forward or backward.
3. HANDLEBAR HEIGHT:
For most riders, the height of the handlebar should be slightly above the saddle height. If you prefer a more relaxed, upright position, raise the handlebar a little further.
4. REACH:
Make sure the distance from the saddle to the handlebar (reach) allows a comfortable grip without overextending your arms.
If you are unsure about your set up, don't hesitate to ask our team for help at any time. We can't wait for you to experience our new bikes!
