HR Manager
35-40h | Vienna
We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to take full ownership of our HR department and support our growing team of around 100 employees across five studios.
This is a hands-on role with a broad scope – from HR administration and payroll to recruiting, employee relations and strategic people topics. You’ll work closely with management and have a real impact on how we grow and develop as a company.
Your responsibilities
- Managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding
- Processing payroll independently in-house
- Preparing contracts, contract changes, references and other HR documentation
- Managing sick leave, vacation, time tracking and employee data
- Workforce and personnel planning
- Coordination of schedules and short-term staffing issues
- Being the first point of contact for employees on HR-related topics
- Contributing to a strong, positive and consistent company culture
- Ensuring compliance with Austrian employment law
- Supporting employee development, feedback processes and promotions
- Handling employee relations and sensitive/confidential situations
- Maintaining and improving HR processes, policies and internal communication
- Working closely with management on people strategy and organizational development
- Driving HR digitalization, automation and process improvements
- Supporting company-wide projects and initiatives where HR expertise is needed
What you bring
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in HR/People Operations
- A completed university degree, ideally in HR, Business, Management, Economics or a related field
- Experience with Austrian payroll accounting
- Basic knowledge of Austrian employment law
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of complex topics
- The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once
- Excellent organizational skills and a structured, detail-oriented way of working
- Very good German and English skills
Who you are
- You are resilient, stress-resistant and mature, and you stay calm when things get busy. You take full ownership, work independently and don’t wait to be told what needs to be done.
- You are trustworthy, approachable and discreet, communicate clearly and respectfully, and are comfortable handling sensitive situations. You’re solution-oriented, reliable, proactive and hands-on – while still being able to see the bigger picture.
- Most importantly, you genuinely care about people and want to build an HR function that makes SuperCycle a better place to work.
What we offer
- A high-impact role with real ownership and responsibility
- Close collaboration with our management
- A dynamic, fast-growing environment where you can shape things
- A great team and an energetic studio environment
- Free access to all SuperCycle classes
- Employee discounts and additional benefits
- A minimum salary of €3,586.73 gross per month (full-time equivalent). The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
